Sea Life Inc. was started by Ken Nedimyer over 25 years ago. Ken has now founded a nonprofit organization which restores the coral reefs locally and has recently become international. With Coral Restoration becoming busier and busier over the last few years, his daughter Kara and her husband Philipp Rauch decided to take over the family business.

We do all, from the collecting to the shipping to ensure that you are getting quality fish and inverts. We keep all our fish in our medicated tanks for at least one to two weeks to ensure that the fish is healthy and is eating before we ship them out. If you do have a fish or invert that you are looking for that is found off the Florida Keys, we do our best to collect them for you (unless the item is prohibited or size restricted).

When packing our fish for shipping, we do everything we can to ensure that they make it safely to our customers. We ship all our animals in insulated boxes and are constantly checking the weather conditions so we know if we need extra insulation or heat packs or ice packs in extreme temperatures. Our primary concern is getting our customers a healthy fish so we do whatever we need to do, even if it means we have do delay shipping due to weather.

We have a lot of people who are curious why we do not have a phone number listed and the reason is because we are just two people running the business and are often out collecting or packing fish. The best way to contact us is by email and we try to be very prompt with our response.

We ship with Fedex overnight shipping on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and special requests can be made if you need your package shipped another day. Reduced rate shipping (Priority Mail) is available for our hardier invertebrates but we only ship those packages on Monday and Tuesday so that there is no risk of the delayed package having to over the weekend.

We hand pick our cultured live rock so we are open for requests on sizes and such.
